The College of Food Science in South China Agricultural University was established in 1994 and started recruiting student in majors of Food Science and Technology (Bachelor degree), Food Engineering (Bachelor degree), Agro-products Storage & Processing (Associate degree), and Food Science and Business (Associate degree). The discipline of Agro-products Processing & Storage Engineering was approved for master program since 1984 and doctoral program since 2003. Currently the College is holding 1 postdoctoral station, 5 doctoral programs, 6 master programs, and 4 undergraduate programs.
